Rangers deployed in Lahore
LAHORE: Rangers have been deployed in the provincial capital of Punjab in light of the security situation.
According to sources, Rangers personnel have been deployed at Jati Umra the location of Raiwind Palace, CM House and other important places. Rangers will also be patrolling in different areas of Lahore.
Sources add that two companies of Rangers have been deployed in the city to maintain law and order.
On Friday it was announced that the army and Rangers had been put on standby in Punjab as a security measure.
