Imran refuses to meet Jamaat chief, says dialogue process is over
PTI chief says long march inevitable

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has refused to meet Jamaat-e-Islami leader Sirajul Haq, saying there was no space left for holding dialogue with the government.

Quoting sources inside the PTI, a private TV channel reported that the Jamaat chief had sought time from Imran Khan for a meeting to urge the PTI leadership to withdraw from its call of long march. However, the PTI chairman refused to meet him on the issue.

The channel quoted Imran as saying that the time for dialogue (with the government) was now over, while long march was inevitable. He said no dialogue process could take place now. The PTI has been pressing the government for holding mid-term election and punish those found involved in rigging in the general elections last year.
