Saad Rafique invites Imran Khan to have election contest

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Tuesday dared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to come forward and have an election contest with him, Geo News reported.

Addressing a press conference here Tuesday, Saad Rafique challenged Imran Khan to contest elections from each other’s constituencies after resigning from their National Assembly seats. “This will bring a clear picture before everyone,” he added.

The minister said Khan is expert in changing his stance and objectives, adding that people have given mandate to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and PTI to serve them and not to engage in a battle with each other.

Saad made it clear that Tahirul Qadri is wanted to police and he would not be allowed to come out.
