Zahid urges PTI to help KP rain affected people

ISLAMABAD: Leader of Awami National Party Zahid Khan on Saturday urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief to provide help to rain stricken people facing problems in Peshawar areas. He said that heavy rain had played havoc in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa areas.

Zahid Khan said that KPK ministers are sitting in the federal capital and giving no attention to the problems of the rain hit people. He added that Chief Minister Pervez Khattak is taking part in the protest demonstration with the entire cabinet members of KP and left the rain affected people in lurch.

Zahid Khan said that KP government should start rehabilitation work to remove the miseries of the people hit by heavy rains. Talking to media, he said that there are number of issues in KP like corruption adding that provincial government should focus on addressing these problems.

He said that the KP people had rejected PTI chief Imran Khan. To a question he said that demand of Imran Khan regarding setting up of a judicial commission had been fulfilled. He said that Imran Khan should present himself to the judicial commission.

Zahid said that Imran Khan had failed to bring million people to show strength. To another question ANP leader said, “We are supporting the system for strengthening democracy in the country.” He said, “We do not want to derail the democratic system in the country.”
