PM Nawaz greets Modi on India’s Independence Day

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday greeted his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on India’s 68th Independence Day. Modi had also congratulated Pakistan on its Independence Day on August 14. PM Nawaz Sharif’s message was released in a statement by the Pakistan High Commission that read, “Prime Minister Sharif greets Prime Minister Modi on India’s Independence Day, wishing prosperity to the people of India.”
