Bilawal urges party leadership to meet in Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has summoned party’s Kashmir leadership in Karachi on Tuesday to discuss the defeat in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) elections.

Sources told that the leaders would present a report over the reasons behind PPP’s defeat in the Azad Kashmir polls. The participants would also talk on the interference of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) in the elections.

Bilawal would also take the party into confidence over the name of the opposition leader nominated for AJK’s legislative assembly. Moreover, exchange of views would also be held on new the organisational headship.

Earlier, PMLN bagged 32 seats, All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference won three seats while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan People’s Party won two seats each.
