Establishment Division sets up pension cell

ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has set up a pension cell to deal with pension cases, ensuring prompt payment of pension to retired government employees.
Post of a welfare officer has been created with a task to prepare pension related documents of the retired employees within a year so that the pensioners did not have to face any hassle in getting their pensions.
The pension sum will be transferred to the bank account of a pensioner through a direct credit scheme in place of pension book. Establishment Division Secretary Syed Tahir Shahbaz inaugurated the pension cell.
At the opening ceremony, a Pension Payment Order (PPO) and gifts were given to newly retired Naib Qasid GhulamFarid and another retired employee Safdar Shah by Revenue Board chairman Justice (retd) Faqir Muhammad Khokhar.
All employees of the Establishment Division have appreciated the new initiative.
