PM Nawaz tells Imran, politics is not a one day match

SHOREKOT: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said the politics was not a one day or a test match but a serious kind of thing and masses have rejected the politics of hatred.

He was addressing the gathering after performing the ground-breaking of Shorkot-Khanewal Section of M-4 in Shorekot on Saturday.

The Prime Minister, without mentioning the name of Imran Khan, said the politics means to serve the populace; it’s not to stand on container and making nonsense comments.

“People have become politically matured and they have dismissed the foul language and non-serious politics of sit-ins,” he added.

He said the reduced distances will boost economy which is already growing.

“Entire world is recognizing the revival of our economy,” he said adding that today country’s forex reserves have reached record level.

Lauding the cooperation of China extended to Pakistan, the prime minster said that China is our time tested and reliable friend.

Nawaz Sharif reiterated that load-shedding will be ended from the country before 2018.

Talking about the M-4 project, the Prime Minister said the project will improve the country’s vital north-south road network and promote economic growth, create jobs and ensure regional connectivity.

The Motorway M-4 Faisalabad-Multan 240 kilometer is divided into four sections. Faisalabad-Gojra and Khanewal-Multan sections have already been completed, while work is underway on Gojra-Shorkot section.
