Pakistan protests over unprovoked Indian firing at LoC
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan's DG Military Operations contacted his Indian counterpart on Sunday to register his protest at unprovoked Indian aggression along the Line of Control.
According to the ISPR, Pakistan's DGMO contacted his Indian counterpart and protested over unprovoked Indian firing across the Line of Control on Saturday night. The ISPR claimed that Indian firing across the border continued till the morning.
The ISPR further revealed that the Indian shelling had targeted Pakistan's urban population and check-posts. The DGMO stated that India was constantly violating the ceasefire agreement between both nations. He also said that Indian firing across the Line of Control was a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Pakistan and India have frequently traded fire along the Line of Control in the past as well.
