Independence day celebrated with zeal at Wagah border
LAHORE: The Wagah border was once again abuzz with patriotic zeal and zest as enthusiastic Pakistanis danced, chanted slogans in favour of the country on the occasion of Independence Day on Sunday.
Lively colours and a festive atmosphere filled the place as thousands of Pakistanis chanted slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad' and 'Kashmir Banega Pakistan'. As the usual ceremony of taking the flag down was held, Pakistanis could be seen brimming with joy.
A sea of Pakistani flags could be seen as enthusiasts witnessed the ceremony with joy and pride.
