CM, governor discuss development projects in Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has called for quality work and the timely completion of various development projects of the province so as to make them beneficial for the masses at the earliest.

He said this while talking with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah who called on him after the flag hoisting ceremony here on Sunday at the Governor House. Provincial ministers, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro and Jam Khan Shoro, were also present on the occasion.

The governor said that after improvement in the law and order situation, emphasis was being laid on accelerating the development portfolio so as to complete various development projects. K-4, M-9, Lyari Express Way (LEW), S-III are the few projects which are being given priority, he added.

He further stated that LEW is progressing fast and it would be a welcome addition in transport facilities to Karachiites. K-4 is a project of huge importance as it is aimed at eliminating the scarcity of potable water to the residents of Karachi, he observed.

The chief minister thanked the governor for his guidance in various fields and said that the provincial government was attaching top priority for completion of various development projects. He said that transparency in release and utilisation of the development funds was also being ensured.
