Pushups challenge enters politics from sports
KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Sports Ali Bux Mahar has challenged his counterpart in Punjab for 50 pushups.
Mahar did 50 pushups in less than 40-seconds in a video circulating on various platforms and after setting the bar at 50 he challenged the Punjab sports minister to show if he was fit enough for the challenge.
Responding to the challenge, PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry said he was ready to accept the fitness challenge given by the Sindh Sport’s minister, however, added “A battle between the ministers cannot be proven by physical fitness but rather by serving the masses.”
Let’s compete on the condition of grounds of Hyderabad and Karachi with the Punjab, he added.
