Pakistan’s economy has achieved impressive turnaround: Maleeha
NEW YORK: Pakistan's Ambassador to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi has said Pakistan's economy is on upswing as it pursues the most investor friendly policies in the region.The ambassador said this at a ceremony of NASDAQ stock exchange in New York. She said “we are open to business and foreign investment and our economy has achieved an impressive turnaround and is poised for rapid growth.”
The envoy said this economic stability has been achieved due to an enabling environment of democratic consolidation and security gains. She said “we are embarked firmly on the path of realising our vision to turn Pakistan into a regional hub connecting the different regions.”
