PML-N politically and morally wounded: Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreeke Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) is politically and morally dented, also breaking silence over Ayesha Gulalai's allegations against him.

Khan, referring to former PTI member Gulalai’s allegations against him, said that the accusations were PML-N propaganda, and added that the party has a history of leveling false claims and committing character assassination of political rivals.

“They have leveled false allegations against former PM Benazir Bhutto and myself in the past, but they have always failed in their attempts,” said Khan.

The PTI chief further added that PML-N can stoop as low as they can to save themselves and their financial gains.

Khan also took to twitter to break silence over the accusations in a tweet that said: “My challenge to Sharif-MSR mafia is: Do your worst; stoop as low as you can; me & my struggle-hardened party will become ever stronger IA.”

Refering to Ayesha Gulalai’s sister Maria Toorpakhai Wazir, a professional squash player who is being heavily criticized by PTI supporters, Khan requested supporters and party leaders to refrain from targeting her.

“My request to all PTI supporters is to immediately refrain from targeting Ayesha Gulalai's sister.” PTI chief said in a tweet.
