Nawaz Sharif must disclose ‘conspirators’: JI

JHANG: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq said on Saturday that Nawaz Sharif should disclose the name of the elements that conspired against him, instead of blaming everyone.
Addressing a public gathering at Jhand Bharwana in Jhang district on Saturday, he said that after his disqualification, Nawaz Sharif should have gone to the Faisal Mosque and thanked God as he had been sent home and not straight to jail. "Nawaz Sharif is claiming that he has been punished because of the CPEC. The fact is that CPEC is being opposed by Indian Prime Minister Modi, who is a close friend of Nawaz Sharif," he said.
Haq said that Pervez Musharraf and Asif Ali Zardari should also be held accountable."It is interesting to note that people who held cabinet portfolios during the Musharraf regime not stand alongside Nawaz Sharif. The government should also invite Musharraf back home and include him in the cabinet as well," he said.
