PESHAWAR – The visiting Under Secretary General of the United Nations on Security aspects Peter Drennan called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan at Governors House, Peshawar on Wednesday.

The distinguished guest remained with the governor for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest with special reference to the situation in the region especially from security point of views. Talking on this occasion the governor mentioned the situation in FATA in particular and said that measures underway to ensure peace and stability are heading forward with complete success and which are also expected to bear great impact on making well being of the respective people.

Now, he added, we are entering the more critical and important phase of making repatriation and rehabilitation of the affected people at their native places in a smooth way. This, indeed, the governor said, is very important too and the support of the world community will also be highly valuable for our government in making its ongoing measures fully useful and result oriented.
