PM appreciates PAF role in Zarb-e-Azb

ISLAMABAD - Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Wednesday and discussed professional matters of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and security environment in the region.
The Prime Minister appreciated the role played by PAF in ongoing Zarb-e-Azb military operation. He said that the nation is proud of the Pakistan Air Force for defending Pakistan and the government would meet all the requirements of PAF. Air Chief Marshal Tahir also informed the prime minister about future plans of the air force for its modernisation to meet the emerging challenges in view of fast development of technology. He also presented a cheque of Rs 32 million to the prime minister for displaced persons.
