Pakistan’s future tied with Balochistan’s progress: COAS

QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif said on Tuesday Pakistan’s future was tied with progress in Balochistan.

Addressing a passing out parade, COAS General Sharif expressed confidence that the youth of Balochistan would not lag behind in defending the motherland and the day was not far when the few enemies of the country would be eliminated.

General Sharif emphasised that progress of Balochistan was a top priority and people of the province were aware of this and rejected enemies of the state.

The passing out parade was also attended by Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Commander Southern Command. Dr Baloch congratulated the graduates and expressed hope that they would play an active role in tackling internal and external threats.
