Lahore Motorway partially closed as thick fog blankets Punjab
ISLAMABAD: As the mercury continues to decrease across Punjab, thick fog has disrupted routine activities in the province including Lahore while sections of motorway were also closed to avoid any mishap.
According to motorway sources, the motorway from Lahore to Kala Shah Kaku was closed for all sorts of traffic as visibility reduced to zero. Also, the traffic coming from Babu Sabu Interchange and Thokar Niaz Baig Interchange was also restricted to travel on the motorway due to heavy fog.
Thick haze also covered the motorways areas from Lahore to Bheera, and Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad due to which the authorities have advised the commuters to remain vigilant and drive slowly while they have also suggested to use fog lights during traveling on the motorway.
