Mamnoon expresses sympathies with bereaved families

KARACHI - President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday said that Pakistan would fight the menace of terrorism till its logical conclusion and would not be deterred by dastardly acts of the terrorists.
Addressing the Third International Seminar on Health, Safety and Environment here, the president also expressed deep sympathies with the parents and families of those who lost lives during the attack by terrorists at a school in Peshawar. “I strongly condemn the barbaric and inhuman act perpetrated by anti-state elements against children, youth and women at a place that holds its own sanctity,” he said.
Offering his condolences to the bereaved families and praying for speedy recovery of the injured, he said that sacrifices rendered by the innocent citizens as well as brave personnel of Pakistan Army and security forces would not go waste. “We would fight against the menace of terrorism till its logical end,” he said at the event organized by Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited.
He said that the nation as well as the government will never be deterred by dastardly acts and the militants would be ultimately brought to task. He reiterated that sacrifices rendered by the people of Pakistan for the protection of their homeland will always be cherished and their dreams of peace and tranquility in Pakistan, paving way for progress, would be duly realised.
He also paid huge tribute to the soldiers realising their responsibilities against extremely critical situation and rendering huge sacrifices for the cause of protecting Pakistan against diverse nature of challenges.
