Punjab governor, AJK president visit Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan on Thursday visited the provincial capital to express deep sympathies with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Khan over the killing of 147 schoolchildren, teachers and soldiers in the Tuesday’s attack on the Army Public School.
While expressing their deep sympathies with the members of the bereaved families on the loss of precious lives in the tragic incident of terrorists attack at the Army Public School in Peshawar, they also expressed staunch solidarity on behalf of the respective people. “The tragic incident greatly moved the people of every nook and corner of the country and this spirit of fraternity and brotherhood is indeed a great source of strength for us as a nation and the affected families in particular,” KP Governor Sardar Mehtab Khan said.
