PM Abbasi reiterates Pakistan won’t allow any kind of militancy on its soil

Sochi: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reiterated that Pakistan will not allow any kind of militancy on its soil and is fully committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism.


Prime Minister Abbasi was addressing Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) heads of government meeting in Russian city of Sochi on Friday.

The Premier said, “Pakistan is fully cognizant of the threats posed by terrorism, separatism, and extremism to the regional and global economic development.”

He went on to say, “Pakistan have lost thousands of lives, including 6500 military and law enforcement personnel to terrorism.”

He said our economy suffered losses of over 120 billion dollars.

PM Abbasi said Pakistan will not allow any kind of militancy on its soil and is fully committed to eliminating the evil of terrorism.

“Pakistan wants enduring peace and stability in Afghanistan,” PM Abbasi asserted.

Pakistan fully supports SCO countries resolve to fight terrorism. He said terrorism cannot be identified with any religion, country, or nationalities, Abbasi added.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says trade and economic cooperation holds the key for long term stability, progress, and prosperity.

He said SCO holds tremendous potential for connectivity, trade, and economic development.
