PTI, PPP oppose oath amendment, PML-N endorses: Senator Hamdullah
MULTAN: Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) leader Senator Hamdullah on Tuesday said the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf and Pakistan People’s Party had extremely opposed his amendment on change of oath which declared Ahmadis as Muslim while Pakistan Muslim League-N endorsed his amendment and largely supported it.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the JUI-F leaders had sacrificed a lot on Khatam-i-Nabuwwat section of the Constitution and he was the first person who spoke on the amendment.
He said that repeal in change of oath was the result of JUI-F efforts and Khatam-i-Nabuwwat law will remain intact in the Constitution until the Day of Judgment. All the political and religious parties have unanimously agreed that no amendment would be accepted on Khatam-i-Nabuwwat.
Senator Hamdullah said the Model Town incident judicial report should be made public, which is the right of relatives of deceased. He said it is hard to predict political forecast. Unfortunately, politicians have no powers in Pakistan to decide things. If transparent elections are held the JUI-F would lead in Balochistan and KPK.
Senator Hamdullah said that masters of creating defunct organizations must be exposed. Who created that defunct organization to protect his vested interest? Who has been backing and patronizing defunct outfits? He said the JUI-F would bring those masters to law. The JUI-F does not believe on armed struggle.
He said India has been promoting anarchy in Pakistan through Afghanistan. India has been working against Pakistan at the behest of United States. He said that two types of decisions bring change including historic and real decisions. The court verdict passed against Mian Nawaz Sharif was historic instead realistic. The elected governments have started to remove on corruption charges since 1988. If the rulers were corrupt than why they had been elected in the past. The corruption charges were the basis of trial against Mian Nawaz Sharif, but it concluded at Iqama, which is hard to understand.
Senator Hamdullah said that at least 500 people have been involved in Panama leaks but verdict is issued against only one Sharif family. He said that Hafiz Saeed has been very close with Pakistan’s state and the state has friendship bond with US. Hafiz Saeed has been suffering because of his friendship with state and state-US friendship.
Senator Hamdullah said that the JUI-F was not opposing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor but the party has some grave reservations. This is the sole responsibility of the government to remove reservations of Baluchistan and KPK on CPEC.
He said dialogue with angry Baloch people are the part of National Action Plan. When Barhamdagh Bugti was ready for dialogue no talks could be initiated. Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf continued his rule by exploiting accountability for nine years.
He predicted that the PTI would have no role in the next general elections in KPK.
He said that Pakistan state had endorsed Taliban government instead Mullah or madrassah. He warned a major war is going to take place in the region and five countries would involve in this war. These all five countries are permanent members of United Nations.
