PPP leader rejects Rana Sana’s statement about Justice Baqir
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party on Friday rejected the statements of Punjab Law Minister Rana Snaullah with regard to Justice Baqir Najafi report on Model Town Incident saying that implementation of the report should be according to law but not on the desires of the Punjab Law Minister.Reacting on the statements of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Baqir Najfi Report on Model Town Incident, PPP Information Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor questioned that if there was nothing in the report then why the Punjab government kept it hidden for last three years.
He questioned if Punjab chief minister and provincial law minister were not involved in Model Town operation then why action was not taken against those police officials who were involved in action. “But instead of taking any action, promotions were given to those officials who were involved in Model Town operation, he said.
