Qamar Mansoor removed as MQM Rabita Committee joint in-charge
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Qamar Mansoor has been removed from his position as joint in-charge of the party's Rabita Committee, sources said on Monday.
Informed sources told Geo News that the names of Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Dr Nusrat Shaukat and Amir Khan were in contention for the key position within the party internal structure.
The new in-charge of the party's main internal coordination committee will also be responsible for making official party decisions.
Meanwhile, Mustafa Azizabadi has been appointed as the in-charge of the party’s Rabita Committee in London.
Sources also said that changes were also expected in the MQM's unit, sector and Zonal committees.
