Counter Terrorism Force to be established for Sindh: Apex committee
KARACHI: A meeting of the Apex Committee regarding the National Action Plan (NAP) presided over by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Monday concluded that a Counter Terrorism Force (CTF) would be established for the province.
It was decided in the meeting that the CTF for Sindh would consist of 1000 personnel who would be trained by the Pakistan Army.
The meeting was attended by Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, Core-Commander Karachi Lieutenant Gen. Naveed Mukhtar, and Director General (DG) Rangers Bilal Akbar.
