NAB to target youth for awareness on corruption

ISLAMABAD: On the directives of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, NAB is aggressively pursuing “Awareness and Prevention” campaign regarding corruption by targeting youth in particular and masses in general.

This campaign is intended to change the attitude and mindset on corruption and its ill effects on society, said a press release on Sunday.

The NAB chairman said since mothers have a major impact in bringing up children and on their attitude and development, the campaign is intended to target young ladies in universities and colleges who are going to be future mothers.

He said their sincere efforts in inculcating basic moral values against corruption besides religious teachings will go a long way in strengthening and bringing a change in the mindset of tomorrow’s youth.

Chaudhry said that NAB had proposed Ministry of Capital Administration & Development Division (CADD) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) to get together a panel of imminent female scholars to share their valuable ideas and thoughts on implementation of goals of eradicating the menace of corruption effectively through the forum of NAB across the country.
