Police to start crackdown on NGOs Online

Islamabad: In the wake of accelerating cases of new born babies being stolen from hospitals of the city, the federal capital police has decided to launch a crack down against NGOs. To this effect, directives have been issued to all police stations to check the records and verification of NGOs in their respective jurisdictions and present a report to the SSP. All the SHOs would be bound to report of the NGO activities to SSP and if any other case surfaces of babies being stolen and sold than the SHO of that respective area would be held responsible. According to police sources, these measures have been taken after cases being surfaced of babies being stolen from hospitals and being sold by NGOs operating in the jurisdiction of Ramna police station.
