Asif for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan, Europe

MUNICH - Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif has said that Europe must enhance cooperation with Pakistan, realising Pakistan’s efforts against terrorists. He said that 175000 Pakistani troops have been battling terrorists and Europe must realise the need for increased assistance. He was talking to a Pakistan TV channel after his arrival in Munich where he is to attend a security conference. Asif, who is expected to meet his two European counterparts, said that the whole region would benefit if peace was established in Pakistan.
