MQM terms JIT report on Baldia Town fire concoctedKARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi Sunday termed the report of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Model Town factory arson as fabricated and based on lies. Addressing a press conference here at Nine Zero, Haider Abbas Rizvi flanked by members of MQM Rabitta Committee said thousands of concocted JIT reports had been prepared indiscriminately against the party chief Altaf Hussain as well as workers. He said the JIT report of Model Town tragedy was made on hearsays, as the ‘report is based purely on anecdotal evidence’. He said the report was prepared about one-and-a-half-year ago in 2013 and made public now. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui termed the report part of a conspiracy against MQM.
