NAP will be fully implemented: Shahbaz

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif says speech and essay-writing contests in educational institutions will be arranged to promote peace, brotherhood and harmony in the society. Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-N office-bearers in Lahore, he said that the National Action Plan (NAP) against terrorism will be fully implemented. The chief minister said that the people of Pakistan will succeed in the war against terrorism and they will foil the evil designs of the enemies. He said that Pakistan Army is writing a new history of courage and bravery in the war against terrorism and the nation is proud of its armed forces. Chairing another meeting of Price Control Committee, the chief minister said that the government will not let anyone to exploit the masses by unilaterally increasing prices of essential commodities. The meeting particularly reviewed the reduction in the fares of public transport and other commodities following recent cut in the prices of petroleum products. He expressed satisfaction that the fruit of government’s public welfare measures are reaching the masses.
