PTI writes letter against Altaf to British High Commissioner

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday wrote an open letter to British High Commissioner Philp Barton, asking the British government to take notice of Altaf Hussain's alleged illegal activities in Pakistan. The letter written by PTI Central Information Secretary Shireen Mazari states that Altaf, a British citizen, is involved in incitement to violence, use of abuse and spreading politics of hatred in Pakistan. In the letter the PTI has further stated that MQM is involved in the murder of Zahra Shahid, journalists including Wali Khan Babar and other citizens. The letter also mentions the JIT report on the Baldia Town factory fire along with stating that when PTI demanded action against MQM, Altaf Hussain used ‘gutter language’ against PTI women activists from his home in London. According to the letter, Altaf Hussain has multiple murder cases pending against him in Pakistan but he remains in the safe protection of the British government. The PTI in its letter urges the British government to move against Altaf Hussain by removing the protection of citizenship under which he is hiding and evading multiple criminal charges in Pakistan.
