The SSA held a general workers meeting at the airline’s head office in Karachi, where the associations general secretary Safdar Anjum stated that privatization of a national asset will not be allowed. He added, that the government and airline management should include the association’s nominated representatives when deciding the future of the airline. The association members, led by the president Aqeel Siddiqui met with Rana Muhammed Hayat the chairman of the National Assembly’s standing committee on aviation and apprised him of the airline employees reservations against privatizing the national airline.
