Investigation team formed to probe Baldia factory fire
KARACHI: The Sindh Home Department has formed an investigation team to further probe the Baldia factory fire that killed over 250 people in 2012. Home Secretary Sindh Abdul Kabir Qazi said that Additional Inspector General Crime Branch Khadim Hussain Bhatti will spearhead the team also comprising DIG Crime Branch Mushtaq Shah and one member each from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Sindh Rangers. The team will probe the tragedy which recently made headlines in media after a JIT report was submitted in the Sindh High Court.
