Altaf, Rehman discuss political situation
APPKARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain had talks with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Rehman Malik on the current political situation of Pakistan. According to a statement of the MQM issued on Sunday, both the leaders discussed the current wave of terrorism and the tactics to tackle the menace. They also condemned the terror attacks on Imambargahs, police headquarters, schools and other public places and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the losses of innocent lives. They also appreciated the security agencies for taking action against the terrorists and other banned-outfits and paid rich tribute to the martyrs of the war against terror for their sacrifices to save Pakistan and the people.
