LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the PML-N government will rid the country of terrorism, power load shedding, unemployment and price hike. He was talking to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at his Jati Umra residence here on Sunday. The prime minister said that the whole nation and state institutions are united in the fight against terrorism. He made it clear that terrorists would not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs and would be eliminated once for all. The Prime Minister vowed to restore peace in the country at all cost. For this purpose he said that full implementation of National Action plan is needed in all the provinces. He said the government has come to power with the votes of the people and was working day and night to resolve their problems. He was confident that the time was not far away when the problems of load shedding and unemployment would be resolved. Shahbaz Sharif briefed the Prime Minister about steps taken by his government for the implementation of National Action Plan and said many suspected terrorists have been arrested during raids. He said investigations were in progress and those involved in heinous crimes would be brought to justice. He also informed the prime minister about power and other development projects being implemented in the province. The chief minister had earlier this month said that the government is making serious efforts to resolve energy crisis being faced by the country as it is directly linked with control of poverty and unemployment besides creation of job opportunities.
