Top civil-military leadership discusses national security
ISLAMABAD: Top civil and military leadership, under the chair of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif discussed national security at a high-level meeting here on Monday.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, National Security Adviser Nasir Janjua, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, and the PM’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz attended the meeting.
According to sources, the meeting discussed the national security situation as well as the matters relating to peace in the region.
The progress of military operation Zarb-e-Azb and the implementation of the National Action Plan also came under discussion.
