Bannu attack leaves two policemen injured
BANNU: A lone assailant attacked the Thana Mandan police station early morning on Tuesday, injuring at least two policemen.According to reports, the militant was carrying 20 kg of explosives in a truck which he crashed into the station, damaging part of it along with injuring at least two officials.
According to sources, the attacker was gunned down by police firing.
The district police officer said a search operation was underway in the area for any further threats.
The injured were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Bannu.
