We are being defamed due to recent wave of terrorism: Shah Mehmood
By: OnlineISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi while condemning the terrorist attack on shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan, said that due to the ongoing wave of terrorism, we were being defamed in the world.
Shah said in his statement issued on Friday, “We are not satisfied with the security arrangements at shrines across the country as Interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali khan has completely failed.” He added that the internal and external policies of the country spoke volumes about our failure.
He said that due to non-implementation of National Action Plan (NAP), terrorist activities were increasing day by day and we are being maligned in the world.
Qureshi urged that we need to improve our internal and foreign policy for the sake of national security. “A permanent foreign minister should be appointed,” he stressed.
