Special Courts not desire of Army but need of extraordinary times: COAS
ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif addressed the meeting underway at the PM House to discuss implementation of the anti-terrorism National Action Plan.
COAS General Sharif said special courts are not the desire of the Army but the need of extraordinary times. 'We will return to original system when normalcy returns," DG ISPR quoted the Army chief in a series of tweets.
The Army chief said Pakistan had reached a critical stage in the campaign against terrorism and would win decisively. “Can’t even image to lose as state/society.”
General Sharif said today’s decisions would determine the destiny of Pakistan and we would have to stay focused on the implementation of these decisions.
“Decisions reached during the first APC must endure and we need to make quantum decisions.”
