Imran meets delegation, discuss progress on mega projects

PESHAWAR – A delegation led by Executive Member Peshawar Chamber of Small Traders Atif Haleem met with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan at his residence in Bani Gala.

According to a press release issued here on Friday, the delegation members discussed in detail progress on ongoing mega projects in Peshawar city. During the meeting, Imran held discussion on establishment of Indus Hospital and Jalozai University besides some ongoing mega projects in Peshawar. He expressed the resolve that Peshawar's lost glory of `City of flowers' would be revived at all cost. He also directed Khawaja Atif Haleem to keep inspection of mega projects in Peshawar. PTI chairman said that people of Peshawar have reposed full confidence in PTI leadership and he will not let them down.

Discussion was also held regarding upcoming senate polls and Imran informed delegation members that names of candidates have not been finalised yet. He said that the party workers would be given due consideration while selecting candidates for senate polls. He also assured the delegation members that soon meetings will be held with quarters concerned for early completion of Indus Hospital and Jaliozai University in Peshawar.

The delegation members included Indus Hospital Karachi Chairman Dr Abdul Bari, Member Planning Commission Khawaja Yahya, PTI Youth Wing member Usaid Sehti and PTI Youth Wing Canada member Hassam Khawaja.
