Cricket team visits CMH to meet injured students

PESHAWAR – Pakistan cricket team players and officials arrived on Saturday at Combined Military Hospital to enquire after the health of the injured students and show solidarity with the affected families.

According to ISPR, the cricket team members met the victims’ families and expressed solidarity with them. They also offered Fateha for the departed souls and prayed for courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss with patience. The team members also met with the injured students and inquired after their well being.

They prayed for early recovery of the injured students. The captain of Pakistan cricket team lauded the courage and zeal of the students and offered banquets to them. The captain hoped that with the prayers of these brave students Pakistan cricket team would win the upcoming World Cup event.

On behalf of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Naveed Akram Cheema presented a relief cheque to the administration of the Army Public School. The cricket team members included Misbahul Haq, Shahid Afridi, Ahmed Shezad, Yasir Shah, Ehsan Adil, Naveed Akram and Shahid Aslam.
