Govt eying to end load-shedding by 2017: Asif

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif has expressed the hope to overcome the power load-shedding by 2017.
Talking to a news channel, he said that for this purpose, the government is working on a number of projects. He said that electricity shortage had been witnessed during winter because of less hydel power generation. To a question, he said that Nandipur Power Plant would be fully operational in two years. To another question about the current petrol shortage, he said that the government is taking steps to overcome the crisis. The minister said that petroleum prices would be reduced further next month.
