UAE hands over Uzair Baloch to Interpol

DUBAI: The UAE officials have reportedly handed over the ringleader of Lyari gang war, Uzair Baloch, to Interpol.
Baloch was arrested recently while attempting to go to Muscat on a fake Iranian passport, local media quoting sources reported on Thursday. According to Interior Ministry sources, Uzair Baloch was handed over to Interpol by UAE officials following the request by Pakistan Foreign Office. He is wanted by Karachi police in over a dozen cases of murder, kidnapping, kidnapping for ransom, extortion and other criminal cases of heinous nature. Earlier, Dubai authorities had expressed their willingness to handover Uzair to Pakistan. It said that officials of both the countries were finalizing procedure and formalities for Uzair handover.
