‘Deal rumours die down after Nawaz’s appearance in NAB court’

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb Wednesday said that those who were speculating that Nawaz Sharif has visited Saudi Arabia to struck a deal or secure a national reconciliation order (NRO) must see that he (Nawaz) had appeared in an accountability court.

Talking to the media, the minister, while referring to a tweet of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, said probably he (Imran) forgot to write ‘fake Khan’, and if he had done so it would have improved the content of the message. She said that Imran Khan had failed to become a successful politician.

She said all tactics of the PTI chairman against the former prime minister would be flopped very soon. She said that Imran should tell the court about the attack on parliament and PTV before pointing fingers on others.
