Aseefa Bhutto to contest in elections from Lyari or Tando Allahyar
LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have proposed Aseefa Bhutto’s name for contesting elections from Lyari or Tando Allahyar, media reports said on Saturday.
Aseefa Bhutto, who will turn 25 years old next month, is a registered voter from Tando Allahyar but is interested in contesting from Lyari.
However, the parliamentary board is yet to finalise the seat she will be contesting from.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto will also contest elections in the upcoming general elections 2018.
The PPP chairman has dispelled all rumours about forming a political alliance, saying, “The party will not forge any alliance in the next general elections and will contest the polls on its own”.
