All institutions must work in constitutional limits, wait for 2018 elections: Marriyum

Rising number of ‘political cousins’ including even Mustafa Kamal of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) wouldn’t be able to do much and the government will certainly complete the tenure, marking ten years of democracy in the government, says info minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Broadcasting and Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has on Wednesday said that all the institutions must work remaining in their constitutional limits and all of us should wait for the 2018 elections.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Marriyum said that there would be no stability in Pakistan unless the vote of the people, which depicts people’s real choice, is respected.

She added that it was a great political victory for Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and its president Nawaz Sharif that all his opponents stood exposed today at one container as Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) joined hands against him.

She said that as the rising number of ‘political cousins’ including even Mustafa Kamal of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) wouldn’t be able to do much and the government will certainly complete the tenure, marking ten years of democracy in the government.

Responding to a question on the rift between senior party leaders Chaudrhy Nisar and Pervaiz Rashid, Marriyum said that she wouldn’t want to comment on the war of words between the two former ministers but was confident and proud that both had complete confidence in the party president, and former premier, Nawaz Sharif.
