Jillani might be appointed CEC after retirement
Islamabad: Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani likely to be appointed as Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) after retirement on July 5th.
Sources have confirmed that the government and opposition have reached an agreement to appoint Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani as CEC after his retirement from the post of Chief Justice of Pakistan.
However a formal announcement in this regard will be announced by opposition and government after receiving nominees from different quarters.
