*PAT chief tells police, civil servants to stop following orders of ‘unconstitutional rulers’

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Tahirul Qadri on Thursday asked the civil servants and personnel of law enforcement agencies to disobey government orders.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Qadri advised the “corrupt government officers” to mend their ways and start performing their duties strictly in accordance with the law and constitution. The controversial cleric asked the security and police personnel to doff their uniforms, and warned that if they do not do so, they would be hanged after his “revolution”. “After my revolution these policemen and civil servants would be hanged, no matter if they are in hundreds and thousands,” Qadri warned.
He said that after his “revolution”, these people would be brought to justice within 15 days. The cleric claimed that the incumbent government and its “corrupt rulers” will be shown the door in the next few weeks. “The government officials take their salaries from the state and not from Raiwind,” the PAT chief snapped. Qadri said the process of accountability will be initiated against the unscrupulous government officials and it will only take fifteen days to complete.
Qadri said his “revolution” does not need the support of “tsunami”, a reference to the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Speaking on the occasion PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that the Punjab government is taking its last breath. He said that doctors, teachers and nurses had not taken to roads at the time of his government in Punjab, and that his projects like Rescue 1122 were highly successful.
