JI receives invitation of MQM
KARACHI: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has received the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) invitation to participate in a rally to be held on Sunday in Karachi to express solidarity with Pakistan Army for the ongoing operation.
Naeem, however, said that although the invitation was accepted but there was difference between MQM and JI’s stances on army operation.
Army operation is not the solution to any problem, JI believes in peaceful dialogues, he said.
“We are with the Pakistan Army but the operation would bring disharmony in the tribal areas”, he told media after meeting with a MQM delegation that visited Idara Noor-e-Hq here Saturday.
MQM leader Ameenul Haq on the occasion said that they had lasting relationship with the JI.
Earlier MQM delegation comprising Ameenul Haq, Abdul Haseeb and Rehan Hashmi had visited the JI Karachi headquarters Idara Noor-e-Haq where they invited JI to participate in the rally to be held at the Bagh-i-Jinnah on Sunday. (PPI)
